Special Forest Products
The forest produces a bounty of herbs, mushrooms, bark, and special use woods. We have some Special Forest Products available that are most commonly requested, we also have access to many products that are less commonly used. Our offerings vary regionally and seasonally. Did you know that wintergreen oil is made from the distilled bark of the black birch? Or that the bark of the witch hazel bark is distilled to make witch hazel oil. Looking for a certain herb, mushroom, or other woodland plant? We will utilize our national network of practitioners to try and meet your needs.
